About

The precepts of the Internet compel me to attempt to answer, in a short blurb of all things, the biggest questions facing humankind.  Who am I and what am I doing here?  That’s the purpose of the About page that exists on just about every website you visit and so despite my inclination to avoid pigeon-holing myself I’m including one here lest the Internet gods take offense and smite me.  As I’m not smitten with them I’m fairly certain being smitten by them would be bad.

So this here is my website.  I’ve been posting on and off for many years because I’m a woman with too many words.  They say women have more words than men and everyone I know says I talk more than the average woman.  Pair that with being home with only kids for company most days and I have a lot of extra words to get out.

If you can’t tell by now, I like to think I’m funny.  While this may or may not be true it is what I choose to believe and I hope you’ll agree.  If you don’t please just be polite and keep it to yourself.  It’s rude to criticize someone in their own home.

Another thing you may have noticed is that I have a passel of kids.  When I started this blog I was cooking up number two and since then I’ve added a few more heads to the count.  Princess Know-it-all (PK) is my oldest, Spy Baby (SB) is my middlest and although she’s not a baby anymore I like the moniker and now I’ve also got Busy B and my dear husband (DH).  Oh, and Snitch the dog.  It’s a full house and I love it.

In high school I wrote a lot of poetry.  I spent my 20’s blogging and now that I’m in my 30’s I’m working on my first novel.  Always onward and upward to bigger and better things.  We’ll see how that all goes I guess.

So that’s that.  That’s who I am and what I’m doing here.  Not too profound but it’s not about the destination as much as the journey.  I hope you’ll hang out and get to know me some more through my posts.
