New Blog Engine!
As promised, I’ve upgraded from Movable Type to Wordpress. Things are still very fluid and nothing is even close to the way I want it, but at least it works properly. Over the next couple weeks I’ll be making changes to the layout and graphics of the page, adding new widgets, replacing some blah pages and updating some painfully old ones. Eventually I hope to even start writing some interesting posts. Let me know what you think!
Comments Fixed!
One of the things that happens when you stop blogging for two and a half years is that your software gets old and out of date. While my dear husband has continued updating the server that this site resides on, I didn’t update anything on the site itself and that resulted in old code that didn’t work right in the new environment so my spam blocking broke my comments. The fix, sadly, was to remove the spam blocking so my friends (the two or three that still check in here after my long silence) can now post comments but so can the purveyors of mail-order pharmaceuticals.
This should be a short lived problem though as my dear sweet man will be upgrading me to the newest version of WordPress this week. Great new things are near.
How cool is this?

Providentially I found another site that [...]
I Felt So Good Like Anything Was Possible
Over the course of the last few months I’ve found myself with some extra time on my hands. Quite a bit of time actually being that it’s summer. Summer time brings to my house freedom from things like school, homework, two childcare locations and network television. In addition to all those things [...]
