Shakespeare’s Monkeys

My new favorite site is The Monkey Shakespeare Simulator. This page is trying to prove the theory that if you have enough monkeys banging randomly on typewriters, they will eventually type the works of William Shakespeare. I don’t know about that, but it’s amusing to watch the monkey population increase and while the number of bananas eaten skyrockets. Right now only six letters have been matched.

The site seems to be very popular since it was linked from some news articles in the UK. I think it would be funnier if they had midgets in there somewhere, but that’s just me.
