More than 100,000 people across the world are now frantically trying to write novels of at least 50,000 words by the stroke of midnight on November 30th. While this has been going on since 1999 I’m participating in the madness for the first time. Eventually there will be a widget in the right column of the blog letting everyone know how many words I’ve managed to spout but it’s not working yet.

For those who are curious, I don’t know if I’ll be sharing my finished product with anyone. I may post some excerpts here but probably not until I’m finished. For now just please wish luck for me and sanity for DH who is going to be starting a new job next week while holding down the fort so I can be a noveling machine.

Oh, and for those who are curious, my current word count is 7108.
